about TALIA ROYA

Talia is a singer and songwriter raised in Phoenix, AZ and now based in Los Angeles.  She released a new original EP in July 2015 with sounds that reflect her emotive vocals, fresh perspective and melodic melodies. Talia started playing piano as a young girl at 4 in Santa Barbara, California where she was born. She started her recording career by releasing her first record of instrumental compositions in 2003 with producer Jeff Weber and David Benoit and the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. Talia started writing songs when she was 12 and continued to develop her craft from there. Her debut vocal record “My Notes” was released in 2006, which has influences of cinematic pop and jazz. Talia’s new music is reflective of her growth as a person, musician and songwriter. Talia is working on an new music to be released in late 2016.

Talia’s original music has brought her to perform at venues such as the El Rey Theatre, The Mint, On the Rox, The Viper Room and many others in the Los Angeles area. Talia has recently opened for the legendary Linda Ronstadt and the Little River Band at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix.

Talia has a style all her own that is influenced by cinematic themes, rock, and blues from artists including Stevie Nicks, Carole King, Florence & the Machine.
